I've recently been decorating my front room and unplugged both my PS4 pro and Xbox one X and being an idiot, chucked all the cables into a bag. Now I'm setting them all back up I don't know which power cable is which! Does anyone know a way of telling them apart, one has a 5A fuse showing if that helps? If anyone could take a picture of their plug for either console that would be much appreciated!

If itís just a pair of standard 3 pin kettle leads it doesnít matter. If there are inline adapters check the labels on those - sorry, I canít be arsed to pull the tv unit away from the wall to check (although I have a Xbox 360 rather than an Xbox one x and that has a pretty big adapter)

Thanks pal, it's a figure of 8 plug, I'm so bloody useless with power, I'm worried I'm gonna use the wrong one and fry something!

They are both the same, it makes no odds which one goes into which console.

Are you getting sound from your component cables?

I thought this might be the case, does the fuse used in the plug make a difference?

    They're both 5 amp fuses.

Make sure the power cable is perfectly straight between the socket and the PS4 otherwise some of the electrons may get stuck.

Just take the fuse out and put some tin foil in the gap instead. This makes the cable multi platform.
