@Graxlar_v3 Yes it is a fucking maze and I'll admit I had to look up a couple of times where to go. What I've discovered now is there are even MORE breaches and connecting areas than I first thought. It's fucking nuts. It is very cool how it all fits together though, makes the station seem "real" in a sense although, yes, it doesn't help with a first playthrough. The Transporter did my tits in. Tiny area and he staggered me so easily. Once I learned to attack less and didge more he wasn't too bad but he took far too many attempts. By the time I got to Nemundis I must have been OP as he went down first try without too much bother, I did like him though. Really liked all three lord bosses actually. I'm just mopping up (just killed something called the second archon knight, looked him up and there are four of them apparently - god knows where the rest are) and I never did figure out most of the eye codes or where most of the black hole doors were. I'll do that next time though. |

What did you do to get the sentinel... I made the AI patch but refused to give the architect the data... was I meant to hand it over to him?
I fought the second archon knight as I was stumbling around the Alma mater... didn’t see any of the others though. I think this play through was 12 hours ish... so it won’t take long for a replay.

The architect is in a cage before the AI fight so I spoke to him and he said he was going to do something or other. Then after I killed the AI a breach appeared. Go through that and... It's all a bit nuts. -

Registered 16 years agoFinally got some more time for this after the week from hell at work.
Worked my way through Alma Mater, found a lot of secrets then stumbled into the fight with Uthos without really being ready for it. And... killed him on the first go. Probably helped that I had high induction-resistance armour on at the time. Even so, he felt ridiculously easy compared to the other Lord-type bosses.
Exploring Ikari Walkways now and this is all feeling very end-game. -

Registered 16 years agoFinished... final playtime of 23 hours. I apparently got the "partial true ending" - couldn't get the full true ending as an NPC needed for that glitched out on me.
Posted some general thoughts in the Recently Completed Games thread. Liked it quite a bit overall, but the rough edges are real.
I knocked 0.5 off the score for the true final boss you fight on the true end routes. It's basically a copy of Dark Souls's Four Kings fight, with many of the same flaws and at times it feels like utter bullshit, with an incredibly cheap 1-hit-kills attack. Apparently it's quite easy with a Foresight build, but my melee character took hours of attempts to get past it. -

Registered 16 years ago@wuntyate The problem I had with him was his "white energy darts" move. If you're in melee range with him, it's incredibly difficult to spot he's reading it and it tends to be instant-kill. Eventually got around it by keeping the camera unlocked and pointed upwards while I was fighting him. -

Registered 8 years ago@Rogueywon yeah I know what you mean. Again I lucked out as I don't actually think he used that move during the time that I beat him. Quite often it was that move that killed me.
Despite that I did enjoy the fight. Loved how the background was so mental with huge planets flying about etc. -

Registered 15 years agoI've been trying to play this, but I'm getting a weird 1/2 second delay on input, both with KM and controller. It's most visible on camera movement, not so bad for moving around and attacks. Are you guys getting this as well? -
I don’t remember there being any lag, it felt really smooth for ms.
