I just read that state media are saying it was caused by a fire in a fireworks factory.
I've only seen fires in fireworks warehouses and they looked nothing like that explosion. -

Registered 14 years agoThere was a huge explosion at a firework factory in Tianjin what must be 10 years back. Levelled a sizeable area around it.
Beirut explosion looks far bigger. And a far more uniform explosion.
