It is part of the 2 for 80 vouchers which knocks it down a bit. Can I use gold points to buy the vouchers?

Really do not like that it is a limited release or that Galaxy 2 is missing.

Most annoying thing is that I will still buy it and Nintendo knows that.

I imagine all the games will be available later on at individual (higher) price points.

A shame they also missed out the bonus DVD for how to play the game too

I believe you can pre-order on the eshop currently but that is the digital version.

I'm sure it'll start popping up elsewhere but for now, it's here at least:

    Nintendo UK Store

    Amazon UK

Shopto - Currently the cheapest so is getting slammed with traffic

Edited with other options, as shared by others :)

Especially since you can play them at 60fps upscaled on emulator, Nintendo didn't even bother to give us that.

More than likely the physical copies will be in extremely short supply so I guess I'll probably have to buy these games for the Switch and for every future Nintendo console. I have Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 64 on the Wii U too. The price as always is very steep for barebones ports.

Why do you need to keep buying them, especially if they're just simple ports?

I don't. I'll probably just play them in the Wii U. They still look alright.

My Wii is knackered so will buy this. I don’t really understand the Limited availability (nintendo eh) and it does seem on first appearances a pretty bare bones collection (Nintendo don’t seem to communicate cool stuff sometimes); but I been dying to replay Galaxy and for me is worth the money alone. Really looking forward to replaying it.

Brought a voucher and opted for Dragon Quest as the other game. Both should tie me over nicely till November.

Mario Kart live looks amazing though. Can see it being the most requested toy this Christmas. Will sell a lot. It’s a great idea.

Yeah have an order with amazon, but am struggling with shopto! 7 quid saving probably isn't worth this hassle!

Tbf, making them 60fps would probably necessitate rewriting a few things from the ground up in order to make sure all the timings etc. are correct, in which case they would be considered full remakes and sold separately for full price. And even in their standalone remasters they usually stick to the original frame-rate (e.g. the Zelda ones).

These are literally just: here are three classic games cleaned up a bit so that they look decent on an HDTV, but otherwise exactly how you remember them to be.

Mario Kart AR looks insanely cool but £200 outlay for a two player experience (which is what you'd want) and then obviously two Switches to actually play it.

Still, very tempted to get one for my kids 5th birthday in November.

Is my comprehension off or is it not just the BR that is time limited?

Watching the end section of that Direct made me realise I'd played a tonne of Super Mario Land on Gameboy and forgot about it completely until now. The music, specifically, took me back to 11 years old on a rainy camping trip with just that game and one other (maybe Tetris?)
