| Well, for some reason, PoP3D was lauded as a great game (or so I thought), right up until SoT was released, and then suddenly every seemed to forget and call it shit. Which I found odd. Thing is, people weren't comparing it to SoT when talking about it, they seemed to talk like it was always rubbish. Which I didn't think it was. |

Your memory is a little off, everyone thought PoP3D was a lame Tomb Raider ripoff (rather ironic that of course) and it was terrible.

Yes indeed. PoP3D was absolutely roundly slated. Deservedly too. -

Er! You're all wrong! (Just as I guessed). It scored 84% in PC GAMER (PCG75, Nov 1999) aka not slated. And I quite enjoyed it (until SoT came out of course).

Registered 17 years agoI remember that review - it was in my "I own a PC and WILL buy games for it" phase. Prince of Persia 3D is horrid though, while Sands of Time is lush. Warrior Within tries its best to be absolutely disgusting, but at its core beats the heart of a decent game.
In any case, this card thing looks like a bit of a joke, and should be thrown down the well. -

But to call this PoP is like creating HALF LIFE 2: POKER where you can play as Gordon Freeman as he gambles his way through an alien infested landscape.
Of course sort-of-in-that-vein is Gundam-Mahjong.
Even though I havenīt seen much of the japanese show myself this strikes me as somewhat cynical cashing in on a license.
Oh and PJmaybe, the same scope as sands of time then I presume? POP is sort of a lot of games. And it most certainly could handle a decent 3d POP, even though not a port of sands of time.
