Looks ok to me but I wasa expecting total shit. It'll be a generic sci-fi/monsters run'n'gun movie.

Seems to have alot of Aliens in it. Hope they dont copy too many of the situations.

couldnt see much as its so frigging dark.

Which monster in the game is the baron btw?

Pity there was none of the fps sequence in the teaser.

..is impressed with Kururins image posting skillz.

not so impressed by just about every monster film cliche in the book in evidence in the teaser

I can't even watch the trailer. I registered with IGN, and when I go to download it shows me a registration page asking for me to re-enter passwords on the form.

Then when i submit it's forgotten my country and asks me to re-enter that. Then it says it's sending me a validation email *again* - and when i get all that I go through the SAME friggin' circle of bollocks yet again...and again...and again

Thank you, IGN, and suck my balls.

*edit* Ok, now when I get in it asks me to pay for insider to download... Bollocks to that. Am I missing something here?

Thats a bit harsh isnt it. How come if i say a game like Mortal Kombat Deception is shit everybody agree's, but when i say a game such as Doom3 which was even more hyped, and when it arrived even shitter than said mortal wombat thingy, i get called a troll.

Seriously, i love picking up key cards and shooting shiny plastic looking aliens as much as the next guy - but it was a big old let down, the only good thing about ID software games is that you normally get some pretty good games developed by other companys using the game engine - but in this case SOURCE and Unreal Engine 3.0 totally stole its thunder.

As for the movie, they took out 'hell' and put in 'mars' as not to offend the american religious types. and that trailer does look rubbish, freeze frame on the 'aliens'.

its like gollum never even happened.

I'm hardly picky, i enjoyed the two resident evil movies. but tons of better movies out this year than this.

Watched it yesterday. Actually really neat way to do it. Its FPS view so you see the gun going through the corridors. Still same old lines though. " We are going in hot.." "If it breathes kill it"

I might actually watch this. I don't mind the Rock in movies.

But, monsters are still tiny, token characters that will get slaughtered and are stereotypical Yea man! and not the great quality of the troops in Aliens.

Cringe worthy moment when the guy does that ninja flip to get off the ground. Guess we have to suffer kung fu fights with monsters.

Overall, it does'nt look awful like many thought it would. Watchable with some cool moments I think.
