Registered 20 years agoI've got to 6* village quests, and now have a license test for hub quests.
Finally feels like my somnacanth armour is struggling. Two faints against Zinogre and one against Almudron. Either going to grind Magnamolo for better armour or just upgrade what I have...
Loving the game, although it feels quite easy at the moment. -

Registered 18 years agoUghh first time with Magnamalo, I was beaten badly. The second time, the battery run out while I was having three other players helping me. The third time I had upgraded my armors and tried solo - again, the battery run out.

Registered 14 years agoPicked this up yesterday but I’m struggling to get in to it. I think after so many hours in world on the PS4 the graphical difference (mainly the resolution) is putting me off. I will persist though as I love the new movement options the wirebug offers -

Currently finishing off the 6* village, mainly grinding Zinogre for a plate drop. HR 5 in the hub and maining longsword with a bit of light bowgun. -

Registered 16 years agoFinally put a few minutes into this and made it to level 2* village quests.
Must say I’m not really getting the combat I just keep bashing the x and a buttons and spamming roll/dodge to avoid attacks as best I can. Was using a long sword and just switched to sword and shield.

Registered 17 years agoThe progress some of you guys are making is remarkable. I struggle to find time to play more than about an hour a day on average. I’ve just done the first rampage mission and have one 3* mission left until I unlock the 4* ones.
Still a bow main, but have had some fun with my Eager Cleaver longsword; took down the Royal Ludroth with that. Hacking off its tail was a great moment.gif)

I've not watched it, but based on all his other videos it will be worth a watch.
I definitely learnt some longsword tips.
In other news, I've now completed a full set of LR Nargacuga armour, which has a decent set of skills. Recommended for that last push in low rank... -

Registered 13 years agoS&S can be fantastic as you have the ability to cut tails with the sword and use the shield on heads to cause stun. Posted through GU entirely with it and loved it (paralysis was fantastic in that game) -

I will be recruiting helpers shortly.
But I think I might practice a couple of rampages offline first. -

Did the 4* rampage solo, then went online for the first time, first quest was the same rampage. It gets a bit manic when there is so much going on wouldn't want too many rampage missions but they do mix it up a bit
