    Not complicated.

You take one game at a time because you go home on the first day .
As do England a lot of the time (see WC2014). At least we don't go rioting in the streets after it happens though.

@robc84 itís not been like that on Twitter though. I can understand why the rest of the home nations dislike England when you read some of the BS on there

99% of people on this thread are spot on, open it up to all of England though and by the law of averages youíre going to be neck deep in cunts
Aye I made the mistake of opening a couple of twitter threads and my Christ. Seriously thinking of deleting my account fuck that negativity. To be fair most tweets are positive but the replies are shit

Ok, so you are basing your views on people posting on twitter?

I think that's where you are going wrong ;)

I think if you look back through this thread there hasn't really been any arrogance or superiority. We know the limitations of the team but have enjoyed the run and dared to believe that we may make it all the way. Isn't that what supporting football is all about?

I think we've been gracious in defeat and accepted that Croatia were the better side.
Tbh it wasn't that bad but there was plenty of "I can't see team x or y" giving us any trouble, there was talk of semi-finals and finals before the last 16 matches.
To you guys, you're being supportive, to others it comes across as arrogant.

The media is a million times worse, I watched matches on French, Swiss, Italian and German TV are the difference is enormous. For any neutral, the English media will turn many against them.

    Hope that helps.

"There was talk of semi-finals". Was this before England got to the semi final?

I for one, am sure German media were very level headed when they went out at the group stages.

Hmm looking at p stars history. Registered 5 months ago, had only made 31 forum posts, all of which have been in this thread...

Would not be surprised to learn it was the account of another forumite trying to backup their own attitude and opinion.

Wtf is wrong with these sycophants...

    Absolutely gutted :(

Thought we were the better team, but not getting a second goal in the 1st half cost us dearly. Sadly knockout football is wild and swingy and it was not to be our night. The Croatia goals were both preventable with slightly better positioning, but credit to them for persistently plugging away. They've got to be absolutely ecstatic, and I wish them best of luck for the final!

There's genuinely nothing more pathetic than a bitter Scotsman when there's a football tournament. It's embarrassing.

I think the suggestion of needing an ball carrier is pretty spot on. It was noticeable that Kane rarely had the ball to feet and was largely isolated for long periods.

If Grealish lives up to his potential and moves to a fashionable club like Spurs then he may be the one. He does exactly what England needs, close control followed by incisive running and a good passing range.

It's rabid and comes off as a bit obsessive/unhinged. No one in England gives a crap about some wildly outdated rivalry. Quite the opposite in that people here want Scotland to do well! Remember feeling gutted about Wales at the euros.

Lads, I don't think Kane was injured. It think he was scared of Rooney's mate.
