I definitely believe we should boycott. He is assassinating people. What does actually constitute a boycott if not assassinating people and putting innocent lives in mortal danger in your country in plain sight? Yay letís all go play a football tournament over there. Fuck sake.

There's too much money these days for anything like principles to get in the way.

Tory MP Matt Hancock says the best response is not to boycott but to give them a bloody nose by turning up and winning the competition

    Flawless plan there

Russia to win the World cup when all the other teams suddenly have mysterious illnesses.

Stones would have given away a pen and red carded after 3 minutes with VAR. I know he does well for City but the way he tries to play himself out of trouble he is a World Cup scapegoat waiting to happen.

He's perma benched because he's shit! Been saying for years but apparently he just needs more experience. Least that was the excuse 4 years ago.

He has lost his place for city lately as well, think it was 2 of the last 8 he has played in.

That Italian scoring stat was a bit of surprise. I know we bang on about not being able to produce forwards anymore, but they used to have some pedigree.

I don't think that free kick would have been allowed to be taken that quickly in the league. But England look pretty good to be fair. Having watched a Stoke side with no pace for the last 3 years, this is fucking greased lightening!

I canít see why you wouldnít get away with - quick free kick like that in the league. Palace caught us out with a lovely one a few weeks ago.

Not sure that was a penalty. Great take though.

Bit harsh on England, they've played pretty well.

Talking panini sticker book. It's tradition to do one with the boy every world cup and even though he's turning 18 this year it's still a thing. Anyone else do it? Just gauging interest over future swapsies :)

Have done it the last few years, but Panini have turned in to price gouging scalping scum.

    60% price hike!

They can shove it, I can buy a holiday for the money it will take to fill the book.

I'm surprised there isn't some virtual blockchain-based version by now.

It's always been expensive but they've taken it to a new level. Was going to try and get the boy into it, but not at those prices.
