    1. 01/01 - Heretic II (PC) - 6/10
    2. 05/01 - Duke Nukem Manhattan Project (PC) - 6/10
    3. 09/01 - Bleed 2 (Series S) - 6/10

Got it with Gold and decided to try it out. Super short, took me like an hour. There's extra stuff after the end, but I wasn't interested enough to try it out.

    1. Call of the Sea (PC) (1/1/21) (9/10)
    2. Gears 5: Hivebusters (PC) (3/1/21) (9/10)
    3. Carrion (PC) (4/1/21) (9/10)
    4. Tell Me Why! (PC)
    4.1 Episode 1 (7/1/21) (8/10)
    4.2 Episode 2 (10/1/21) (8/10)

Finished Episode 2 of Tell Me Why! but missed 1 collectible. Still enjoying the story and the puzzles have been logical enough too. Hoping the game's final chapter succeeds.

    1. 9/1/21 - Cyberpunk 2077 (PC) (8/10)

Guess I'll do this again then! At least I'm off the mark a bit faster this time. Still have plenty to do in the game, but technically the credits have rolled.

    1. Call of the Sea (PC) (1/1/21)(9/10)
    2. Gears 5: Hivebusters (PC) (3/1/21) (9/10)
    3. Carrion (PC) (4/1/21) (9/10)
    4. Tell Me Why! (PC)
    4.1 Episode 1 (7/1/21) (8/10)
    4.2 Episode 2 (10/1/21) (8/10)
    4.3 Episode 3 (11/1/21) (8/10)

And finished the game with one of the endings and only the 1 collectible from ep 2 missing. Overall I thought the story was well done with a small but decent enough cast and enough actual puzzles (getting rarer in adventure games these days) to require a little bit of thought. Possibly liked this more than the original LiS too as I didn't really dislike any of the characters.

    Next, who knows...

Edit - wrote ep 4 instead of 3 so fixed it...

    1) 06/01 - Halo ODST (PC) - 7/10
    2) 13/01 - Halo 4 (PC) 6/10

    It's not great, is it?

    #1 - 02/01 - The Last Campfire (PS5) Platinum
    #2 - 15/01 - Assassin's Creed: Valhalla (PS5)

85 hours. Savage. Saw the vast majority of the game I believe as only things left to do were grind for the Platinum which I definitely couldn't be arsed to do! Ended with 81% so a good showing.

Now to go back to my two year old save on Hitman 2, so another 100 epic, christ! I picked up Kentucky Route Zero in the sale so might start that as well.

@Rogueywon no, but it's still a lot better than Halo 5.

@Malek86 - I've not completed either, but I quite enjoyed the 3 or so hours I played of Halo 5, whereas the first 2 levels of 4 were incredibly tedious. Does 4 get better?

    #1 04/01 Immortals Fenyx Rising
    #2 16/01 Crash Bandicoot 4

Probably harder than the first game if you can fathom it. Unfortunately the fun parts are outweighed by frustratingly hard sections and levels that go on for far too long, which coupled with some obscene requirements for getting 100% means I won't bother trying.

    1. Cyberpunk 2077 6/1
    2. Wilmots Warehouse 7/1
    3. Creaks 16/1

Really enjoyed this one - some really clever puzzles, music is brilliant (didn't realise til the end it's scored by Hidden Orchestra) and being an Amanita game the visuals are top class. 9/10

I'm really, really shit at finishing games but I'll try.

    1: 08/01 - Yakuza 3 - 7/10
    2: 12/01 - Persona 5 - 9/10
    3: 16/01 - C&C Red Alert 2 - 8/10

    2. 05/01 - Duke Nukem Manhattan Project (PC) - 6/10
    3. 09/01 - Bleed 2 (Series S) - 6/10
    4. 17/01 - Lego Indiana Jones (Series S) - 6/10

These early Lego games were rough. The slapstick isn't really funny, and the levels get repetitive quickly. I think the first game I really enjoyed was Lego Jurassic World, while Undercover is on a class of its own.

And wow, that's some streak of 6/10 games there. Gonna break it soon, hopefully.

1)Shadows of the Damned Xbox SX 17/01 (7/10)

Would have scored an 8 for how absolutely bonkers it is but the Shump sections are beyond tedious.

    5. 18/01 - FEAR 2 + Reborn (PC) - 7/10

Not nearly as bad as it initially appears, the combat gets more fun once the replica soldiers start dropping in, and there are still a couple tense moments. Still, a far cry from the original.

Somewhat interested in trying FEAR 3 eventually, but I'll wait until it's uber cheap.

    #2 16/01 Crash Bandicoot 4 (PS4)
    #3 19/01 Spiritfarer (Switch)

Quaint little game about death, however I think I was massively missold what type of game it was from reviews that described it's as a "Metroidvania", it's not one at all! It's more an entire game of item farming. Not really my cup of tea.

    4.3 Episode 3 (11/1/21) (8/10)
    5. Sea Salt (PC) (19/1/21) (7.5/10)

Saw this was leaving Gamepass soon so time to blast through it. Played through story on normal once (there are some branching paths so may have another playthrough at some point) and both started and finished in the same day (maybe 4-5 hours at a guess). Finished with 125/1000 Gamerscore and didn't finish any bonus arenas.

Game is an odd little simple RTS with a H. P. Lovecraft setting. Plays a bit like a reversed Tower Defense where you attack the city with your slimy creatures. Pkxel art is simple bit effective and the sound effrcts suit it. Gameplay is pretty simple but I enjoyed my playthrough.

Probably back to Gears Tactics next in GP and also nearly finished Adventures of Mana on Vita and Yakuza Like a Dragon on PS4.

    6. 22/01 - Pandora's Box (PC) - 8/10

Not as well known as Tetris, but pretty good. Unfortunately by the second half the game gets repetitive, and most of the trouble seems to come from the low resolution jpegs used for the pictures, rather than any actual difficulty in the puzzles themselves.

    2) 13/01 - Halo 4 (PC) 6/10
    3) 23/01 - Halo 5 (XBSX) 5/10

I'm no Halo afficionado, but I don't need to be to work out that this one is a bit poor. Feels like 343 actually went backwards between 4 and 5. Oh well, it was a good demonstration of the XBSX's HDR emulation and at least I'm caught up on what passes for a story ahead of the inevitable trainwreck release of Halo Infinite in the Autumn.

    4: 24/01 - Bloodborne - 9/10

Finally got around to finishing Bloodborne after years of not bothering. I'm not sure if it's just the fact that I've played so many Souls games, but I found it ridiculously easy. I managed to roll through the entire game in 3 days without encountering much difficulty. Is it known to be easier than the Souls games or what?

What an absolutely stunning game though, easily one of the most gorgeous to explore and immerse yourself in its lore. I only wish it had a better framerate on PS4 though (I have a Pro). Other than finding it quite easy and the iffy framerate I'd say it's easily one of the best games ever made. Hopefully a sequal/prequal one day.

@Rogueywon mate, if you played on legendary I feel sorry for you. Fighting that cunt Warden Eternal 3 times (or was it 4?) at that difficulty made me want to kill myself.

Made a big push today and finished it. Great stuff in the first half, but the second half is not so good. That said, I enjoyed it for the most part, so I'll probably look into Call of Prypiat someday.

    5. Sea Salt (PC) (19/1/21) (7.5/10)
    6. Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS4) (9.5/10)

95 hours completing every significant mini game and substory, 88% trophies gained (missong 2 NG+ trophies and the plat). Finally finished the game. The new gameplay style worked well and I liked the new cast and location. Story is usual Yakuza melodrama mixed with crazy substories. The only very minor complaints is the combat cpuld get avlittle repetitive and that only the main location has any side stories. Looking forward to what gets announced next. May have a go for plat some time as closest to one I have had in a Yakuza game.

Currently finishing off Adventures of Mana and playing Gears of War Tactics. May make 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim my next TV game...

Wahey! Finally finished it with all DLC 100% complete too. Started Moving Out, thought it was a training mission then we could do online co-op but nope, they've released a game in 2020 without an online mode, fuck me.

Nice 8 bit style top-down adventure. Definitely not anywhere near as hard as I was led to believe by some of the Dark Souls comparisons.

2: Korgan (xbox, free) beat on 30/01/21: Score 6/10

Cheap (actually it is free, but you know what I mean) and cheerful little Dungeon Crawler albeit with crap loot. You play as 3 swappable characters. Very easy and very short. Can be completed in around 2 hours and gives you 1000g's if that is your thing.

First played this back in 2019 and abandoned it about 7 levels in as it's incredibly frustrating to play. Went back to it just to get it off the backlog, and it's still incredibly frustrating. Bleurgh.

More good stealthy (and some stabby) action. Still got Death of the Outsider to play as well to complete the series.

    6. Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS4) (9.5/10)
    7. The Medium (PC) (3/2/21) (8.5/10)

Finished this on PC Gamepass (with 780/1000 gamerscore, missing a few collectibles as played blind) and mostly enjoyed it (a few repetitive action bits were the weakest bits). I thought it looked quite pretty too but it does have some bizarre performance quirks including one section near the end that was single perspective put sent my (admittedly old 4790K) CPU up to 100% and high temps that weren't there in other more challenging split screen areas).

Only bug was literally the last secomd where I got a black window that lookedike it should have an image for a few seconds (had a similar issue with Call of the Sea's animation/video of the husband in letters that I didn't resolve). Enjoyed the story and atmosphere but I don't understand why you would go to so much effort to make the setting look like a Polish location then have only an English voice cast... The only previous Bloober game I have played was Observer on PS4.

Elsewhere should have Adventures of Mana finished soon as on final dungeon and making good progress through 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Probably go back to Gears:Tactics on PC next.

Edit - looking at a YouTube video maybe the black scene isn't a bug but it did look like one...
