Exciting race. All the spring classics have been quite exciting this year.

    I enjoyed that.

    Meanwhile elsewhere:

    - Nibali broke his wrist
    - The UCI decided that throwing away a drink bottle will first get you a fine and only on the second infraction will you be taken out of the race

    Quite a large group left.

I’d laugh if Roglic decides to go for it.

How long does it take to get a finish photo analyzed?

Crazy that it’d end up in two near identical finishes in successive races.

    Did it?

I saw this tweet from Martin.
    https://twitter.com/DanMartin86/status/1384151077944107009

    That seems criminally dangerous.

The world champions won it in both the men's and the women's today, Which was the 7th time in a row (last 3 in the WC jersey) for Anna Van der Breggen. 8-o

That effort level... I'd be puking out of my eyeballs.

I wonder what his peak wattage was there. Probably has a one minute power output I couldn't hold for a second. lol

I wasn't a big fan of the colour scheme on Alaphilippe's bike.

Just the black and the colours fading into each other that didn't do it for me.

This is much more like it!

I enjoyed the Tour of the Alps this week. The final stage finished in Riva del Garda, so it was cool to see some scenery I recognised! Tried my hand at mountain-biking on the trails round there. One route up to Lago di Ledro took a couple of hours up (inc. cafe stop), but 20 minutes down

Also: I think Froome's done. It must be his power, rather than aerobic output, right? They can say he's just riding in support of Dan Martin, but two years ago he was supporting TGH and Sivakov and really helped set them up for their podium places.

I trust Pippo is taking it easy as he builds for the Olympics.

Giro starts Saturday with a 9k TT. Bernal favourite for the overall then Evanpoel, which is kind of mad as he's not raced since breaking his leg. Course looks good, competition looks a bit thin on the ground, usual Giro really.
