| Another Nier Automata would be good... as long as it had a similarly brilliant sound track. |

God, I really want them to give Quake the Doom '16 treatment. The first Quake, too; all that weird Lovecraft-in-space bollocks. I'd also really, really love for them to release the original games again for modern systems. I'd pay cash money for Quake on Xbox (although let's be honest, it'd be on Game Pass).

Oh and a sequel to the original Quake that accurately reproduces the atmosphere, tone and aesthetic of the original.
You’ll have Quake with specular ray tracing and bloody well like it -

Y'all tried Dusk? Looks very Quake-y.

Registered 11 years agoFeels like a cheap answer but my dream game already came out - Red Dead 2.
The first game is my favourite game of all time and I waited 8 long years for a sequel. I remember seeing the sequel get announced and feeling like a kid at Christmas again!
Then, RDR2 comes out and also turns out to be a phenomenal game in its own right, gives us one of the best protagonists in gaming history and ties in perfectly with the first game?
Perfection.
Only other one I can think of is a Splinter Cell reboot - give me the graphical fidelity of TLOU2 and refined stealth gameplay with some sort of super intelligent new AI system. Also a compelling, Bond-esque, globe-trotting story with varied environments and scenarios.
Oh, and get Ironside back on the voice.....but maybe use someone younger to do the mocap. -

Registered 1 year agoA new Splinter Cell would be awesome. I quite enjoyed Blacklist. Best played on Perfection difficulty for more stealth-oriented gameplay.
In terms of Xbox back compat, most of my old favourites are available now, but I'd love to see Max Payne 1 and 2, and Top Spin 4. -

I’d like a good organised crime management game.
Something that was more Championship Manager crossed with crusader kings than Empire of Sin. I don’t want a fancy overhead map or to even to see my empire. I want a game that simulates being Carlo Gambino of Micheal Corleone. Sat in my compound making decisions from the information relayed to me by surbordinates constant paranoia if people are going to rat me out or kill me.
