Registered 5 years agoAdvance Wars! Even a port will do. Wargroove, for all its looks, was really lacking in the stage design department. -

Bit surprised they extended upwards to the skies rather than underground though. But yeah, looked good.
Well this looks pretty significant for a sequel.
"Aiming for 2022" suggests it's still at least a year away though. -

Registered 5 years agoWell. Erm... Metroid 5 is my game of E3. Advance Wars 1 and 2 remake, yes please. Everything else though is next year. BotW 2, Splatoon 3, Mario + Rabbids 2. I'm no longer fussed about Prime 4. Bayonetta 3 is in development hell, seemingly. Not that I care for that series really.
Theres some nice mid-tier stuff in there, but I dont need 2 Mario Party games and Wario doesn't really excite me anymore.
Still, just about better than Xbox. Overall, an unsurprisingly mediocre E3. Just a shame Nintendo didn't have something else to reveal or a specific fixed date on something big. -

Registered 8 years agoI thought that was pretty Solid. Zelda, Metroid, Warioware. Maybe a lot of ports of old classics, but they're good ones. Advanced wars and Super Monkey ball. A fair bit to choose from this year, and thats not really counting Indies. Think Zelda was the only '22 title? -

Registered 15 years agoHad horribly low expectations, terrible first half. Overall it was a decent show though thankfully, albeit saved by nostalgia and remakes/remasters.
Delighted to see Advance Wars, yes!!!! Easily the standout for me (BotW2 aside), hope it sells well and we get a new game. Metroid looks decent, Warioware is always fun, and the actual decent Monkey Ball games getting remastered is a bonus. -
I am not sure how I felt about that. Metroid dread looks great… but considering how barren was last year. We don’t have muc to look forward to this year. -

Registered 13 years agoDo like my 2D Metroid, and Warioware might be fun, but the rest of this year is looking shockingly slim if that's it for 2021. Just a load of collections to pad out the Switch release schedule. -

Registered 5 years agoHope the treehouse focuses on Metroid and Advance Wars. Really looking forward to those. Those will be great portable specific games. Got Fez ready to go. Just waiting on those Spelunky ports. -

Registered 19 years agoWell, a new or remastered Advance Wars has been my dream game for years so I screamed out loud when that was announced. Awesome.
That, SMTV + BotW2 made for a great Direct for me. -

Registered 8 years agoMetroid dread looks awesome, loved the metroid remake on 3ds a couple of years ago!
Botw2 looks awesome!
Very keen to play monkey ball and it looked like a bumper package with high value.
Fatal frame was great, but a remake might be somewhat dated...
Mario rabbids is a sure fire win.
Mario golf is day 1 purchase for me.
Quite liked the look of Shin Megumei Tensai 5, not played that series before.
Advance wars news would be exciting if a new game.
Quite a lot of positives in there for me. Only mentioning metroid prime 4 and no mention of bayonetta 3 makes me a sad panda none the less.
Overall I am whelmed. -

That was the only genuine holy shit moment for me. Just glad to see the series is not completely dead, even if it is just a remake.

Registered 5 years agoI kinda lost enthusiasm for Two Point Hospital very quickly after having been really excited for it for ages. I dont know why. It didn't really do anything wrong. I just had my fill very early on.
I should be excited for the new one, but I'm really not for some reason. -
@DangerousDave_87
