Obviously fontgeek is the way to go (i'll be over in a minute), but why stop at forums? Most of us are gamers, some of us can even string a sentence together. We could try reviewing games - something that EG seems to struggle with from time to time.
Somebody should make a game about shitbirds canning online communities. -

Registered 20 years agoThis is not unexpected, but is proper shit. The forum was the red-headed step child long before Roger Reedpop hove into view.
It’s going to be the end of the front page. Sure, we are small in munger but the heart of this site has always been its forum. Unseen by most but giving it the lifeblood, the framework around which the site itself lived. Over twenty years of influence.
When the bean countered try to figure out why EG just isn’t working anymore in a year or two, no one in those meetings will understand.
It’s because they don’t understand that they are doing this -

I think it's a minor miracle that the forum has been as rich as it has given the lack of cross-publicity from the main site. It didn't have to be this way. -

Registered 12 years agoDamn didn't see this coming. I use this forum every day, and have done for well over 15 years (despite my current profile stating otherwise).
It's always been a good place to discuss anything with (mostly) like-minded people - everything from games, films, TV purchases, travelling, music, log burners, and everything in between.
I thought the forum still had enough members to make it viable, frankly, but it was obvious EG were trying to bury it after the site redesign, so it doesn't surprise me numbers are dwindling.
So where do we all go now. Discord? The pub?... Shall we have a "Death of Eurogamer Forum" piss-up? -
