Without getting overly moralistic, I just wanted to encourage everyone towards forbearance with regards to everyone else's opinion. Within this marketplace of ideas, discussion is best served with open minds and a willingness to think and receive.

Indeed, what is the purpose of discussion if no one is listening?

I think everyone can predict when one's comments will draw offense. (At least I hope so.) So, is it too much to ask to hold back _some_ if not all of those comments?

Just a suggestion...

I tried this sort of thing the other week and then a few weeks before that with the 'forum etiquette' thread.

Hopefully things will calm down now.

Well, it seems there is no need for me now. My job is done here and all that.

It's been a pleasure lampooning Mr Boundah, but now he is no more I must depart for other forums where trolling is running wild.
