I would not bother with it until they a) release some good games apart from MC II and THPS, b) sort out the voice comms.

Right, I'm well hacked off with Sony now.

Just bought Socom and the network adapter.

Felt like a complete idiot as couldnt find out where to plug cable into the adpater - DOH !

Then I register with Sony and was totally infuriated.

Now I've used my "handle" of ReGuRgIt8oR for years. Yes I know it's naff, but so am I. I've bought the domain names (like anyone else was going to, duh), I've logged into all my regular sites as it, I use it for Xbox Live and PSO on G-Cube. So Sony then go and not allow numbers in your "handle". Well thanks a bloody lot Sony (this might explain why I was snubbed for the beta test) Yet you can link your Sony On-line account to your Sony Web profile which I've got under my usual name.

So for Sony on-line purposes only, and for games where you cant use a different name, I'm to be known as Gurgy. This is what my "friends" have called me for a good while now so it's a reasonable second option.

So feck you Sony, oh and Otto do you want to join in with a joint action ?

I'm sending them a snotty email in complaint.

Maybe this is a cunning plan to avoid people trying to be "l33t". If they've banned expletives and names for certain body parts they might find this lets them control the moods of people playing a bit

sounds like a good idea, it'll stop people being lazy and calling themselves essexlad_22 for example, then again how long until all the decent names are taken?

I've been dabbling in the SP game and now feel ready to be humiliated online, and as such I might aswell give an fellow EG'r the pleasure of killing me softly.
