Part Windows Installer backdrop, part bad winamp skin.

I'm sure i saw a beta ver screenshot where it looked all nice and flat. Stinkin gradients. Pure unadulterated by the numbers, run of the mill boring poo boring.

Yeah, its not the most elegant GUI ever, but it looks like it does the job, lots of options to fiddle with is always nice.

I think it looks quite nice, and is a definite improvement over the first Xbox. I like the detail in the animation of the menus. Sure, it's not groundbreakingly original, but for a design that's meant to be easy to use and has to appeal to as many people as possible, I think it's a bit of a winner. The only thing I would've changed would be to switch to a less boxy typeface, but that's subjective I suppose.
