From those vids I can say,

AI ranging from the idiotic to the superhuman.
Stick sensitivity has too steep a curve.

...still plenty of tweaking to be done then. Looking quite good otherwise.

plenty of speculation going around that the AI, animation and physics in that vid weren't fully implemented in time.

*edit - in time for that video.

Looks good. a little rough around the edges but for a non-public display of an unfinished game nothing too serious.

Good to see the frame-rate seems pretty solid, no slow-down when rotating the view of the city scape - but its hard to tell at what frame-rate its currently running at, i guess it'll be locked to 30fps like Rares other games.

And, yes the ragdolling was very wooden. ;)

4 months of development time apparently.

As amusing as my answer was it's the difference between being a launch title; hitting the Christmas market or languishing in the New Year's sales that makes even one month of extra time significant.

The sorry state of the industry is that the games are not being made for you but for publishers.

Looks quite tasty and PD-ish except for a few bits and bobs:

Identikit enemies (the original could be forgiven in some respects due to storyline reasoning (mask-clad foot soldiers etc) and tech limits), super-dodgy animation and absolutely mad rag doll.

When a tiger smiles, it's usually not a good thing.

I've not seen one laugh, that'd be an ominous sign, like the apocalypse or something.

Hmm, there's something wrong with the character to the left. Not the one cropped, the second one. It's either touched up or completely added in PShop.

Wht the rush to get it done as a launch title?

Shhhhuuuurely Microsoft aren't getting cold feet about the quality of their original launch titles? Shhhurely Microsoft aren't worried that it might not be a giagnormous success without a Halo? I'd hate to work at Rare at the moment.

Heh, even the other guy looks strange: the edges against the background are all off. Compare to how the gun and the tower to the left looks against their backgrounds, there's a normal level of aliasing there.

I'll give them credits to the explosion in the bg, is that burning characters being slung out of the explosion centre?? Burning rag dolls = rulz.

Both of those guys are running, neither have motion blur, but the guy in the back in standing infront of some sort of light source/explosion wich is making him look different.

They've both been Photoshopped in, that's why the edges are blurry. They haven't even got shadows.

So they Photoshopped in all of these soldiers too did they?

    I think not.

Actually, yes. The ones on the ground, at least.

Edit: Again, no shadows, erroneous perspective, no visible aliasing on ground characters, blurring on apparently static characters (far right)...
