It was only PGR3 that interested me in the 360, game-wise, but recently I've been watching vids and things and have decided that Kameo, PD0 and GR3 will be coming home with me as soon as poss too. If all 4 are released at launch that will be the most games I've ever bought with launch console. |

Registered 19 years agoWho are you to judge that PSP's launch lineup is "worse" than Xbox 360's? What/whose standard are you using? One is a console, another a portable-- not to mention one person could find Xbox 360's lineup better, and another could find PSP's lineup better?
Really tell me: what standards are you using?
I haven't been excited about the PSP so far because none of the games have appealed to me. Not for a portable system. WipeOut on PSP isn't as exciting as WipeOut on PS3. For me, playing games designed for a home console on a portable are pointless. I prefer strategy/rpg/puzzles for a portable. The PSP so far hasn't done much in this regard-- though I'm quite sure it will in the future.
The PSP is incredibly cool piece of kit. It's fucking amazing, to say the least. But other than complete ignorance, how could you find it "funny" that I would be more excited about Xbox 360? I'm 10 billion times more excited about the 360 than I am the PSP, don't try to convince me that I shouldn't be. It's the equivalent of telling somebody they have factually incorrect opinion. -

Registered 19 years agoOriginality/uniqueness is not an end in itself though-- it is not the all important factor. I'm interested in my overall experience of a game, if it happens to be original game then so be it: if not, then that's OK too but I do not play a game for the sake of it being unique.
And yes, there are a lot of sequels in the Xbox 360 lineup but that's not ALL bad. Judging by the past, Xbox 360 has a very strong launch lineup.
And I'm not trying to undermine the PSP in any way, it's just when I balance the necessity of having a portable with it's level of quality of games I'm just not yet convinced with the PSP: I'm quite sure I will buy it, it just doesn't have that certain game I'm looking for quite yet.
If Square Enix releases Final Fantasy 6 on the PSP I'll buy it almost immediately. -

Registered 17 years agoDont know if im really excited. Think "looking foreward to" is a better term. Time passes a whole lot faster when your not thinking about it, and before you know it, its dec 2nd

Registered 17 years agoThe more I see of the games the more excited I get. Really looking forward to Perfect Dark Zero and Test Drive Unlimited but just because I want to drive round a Hawaiian island in a Mercedes Mclaren SLR. Oooh yes. What will the handling be like on that by the way? More Ridge Racer than GT4? -

Oh, alright then. -
