If you want to go to the London premier of Serenity on 5th October, you should go to www.coolroom.com - they have a competition to win free tickets!

actually a shag load of people have already paid and seen it in the u.k., oz, and the states.

and despite having already seen it (for free, yay me /does the dance of joy/) i'm gonna be taking the missus to see it at the flicks when it's on general release.

that coolroom site must be one of the most annoying ever. Wouldn't let me in because wrong version of shockwave, download that, then the navigation made my head hurt, finally found competitions and you have to log in (I think) then it crashed firefox gah

I'm going to pay and see it. Loved the TV series, so it should be quality.

Seconded. Can't be arsed, and knowing my luck I wouldn't be able to make the premiere anyway

Yeah, really looking forward to seeing it aswell. Is there any sense of anything being started and ended, as in resolved, eviltobz? Does it feel like a decent wrap? Or, will we see more out of the Firefly/Serenity franchise .. ever? Comicbooks don't count.
if no more firefly gets made then it provides enough of an ending to feel ok* about it. but there are plot thingies raised in the series that aren't touched upon that can flesh out more films. the general feeling is that if sreenity is suitably successful then 2 more will get greenlit pretty damn quickly to make for a nice trilogy.

*theres obviously only so okay you can feel at the prospect of no more firefly, but it leaves you in a far more comfortable place than objects in space did as a series finale. bastard fox.
