I saw the guy on Richard and Judy.

His tips seemed to be.

1) Be confident - Actually talk to girls.
2) Don't be boring - Ask interesting questions (What's your favourite thing ever rather than Tell me how much you earn, where do you work)
3) Talk to girls in a group and then try and single out the girl your interested in. (Ask questions to the group, but respond to the answer that the girl you are interested in.)

Sounds like this guy is like every single diet book whose entire contents are:
