Hi

I've ordered a Xbox 360 Platinum Pack and it says it comes with a HDTV cable for high definition TVs.

I don't have a HD TV so will I need to purchase an extra cable?

Yup, unless you enjoy blur-o-vision through the composite cables (which I assume are included as usual).
