Moving house, key purchase is a new TV for both gaming and movies. It's Black Friday.

I literally don't have the energy to compare models endlessly and so I trust my fellow Eurogamers.

    Budget: Sub-1000
Specs: Low input lag, QLED is fine (I'm coming from one of the first types of HDTVs so anything is better lol) OLED is a bonus, 65" (why not?)
Needs: Something that won't be completely redundant in 2 years

    Would really appreciate the help?
The 55" B9 at 999. Listed in the Jelly Deals on the front page.

You won't see top end 65" at that price so it depends on what you're happy to sacrifice.

Thanks Derblington. The disparity in price for an extra 10 inches doesn't seem worth it.

    ...This is an innuendo-free post.

@AboutHalfaStevas B9 is a fantastic TV. The differences between it and the C9 are marginal. Updates seem to arrive a couple of weeks after the C and E, it's not a deal breaker.
Yeah, but now I'm reading about how it's calibration out the box isn't as good...

Why would you get it delivered to your work?

My work had to put a ban on personal items being delivered after a small boat arrived at the mail room, it then had to be left in the carpark for weeks as the person didn't have any way to move it.:D
Because no one would be in to take delivery of it during the day at home. Work seemed the logical choice... until I realised it was a 6 foot box!!

My brother-in-law will indeed be getting a call and a free pint if he comes through for me.

If you can afford C9, get it. The newer chip has knock-ons with ABL, etc, and general future-proofing.

If that 400 (?) extra is problematic, and you want to bite the bullet now, grab the B9.

I've just checked the dimensions online and the specs say the B9 boxed up is 144.6cm long so that doesn't seem huge to me?? I think the Swift can do it!! :|

Might be mistaken, but it looks like richer Sounds just removed the 100 quid off codes anyway?

@Derblington What difference does the newer chip make to ABL?

    3 door

A work colleague has got a Ford Focus so I can always call on them if the Swift lets me down. I could probably fit 2 B9's in a Ford Focus right!?!

The Rtings review? There is panel variance so I don't know whether all B9's are that bad out of the box. I've not had mine calibrated yet so I can't say how accurate it is but the only noticeable error to my eye was too much green. Now I've dialled the green down a little it looks pretty close.

@Psychotext In his video review? I was looking for his comments on the out box accuracy but couldn't find them.

    You need the code, 19BLACK100

They took it off the page for the product, but it should still work.

My compromise is that we are getting a projector and screen for special film viewing. 100 inches here we come!

Edit: i paid 1450 for the q70 in April.
