    I feel really dirty.

I just bought a nano (4gb black) and i feel like i've betrayed my ipod hating non conformist Iriver loving heritige.

I've been taking soooooo much stick from my work colleagues for doing it. I've been giving out stick about my bosses 20G G2 model (and you have to admit, the early ipods did suck) so now i probably deserve everthing i'm getting.

The Nano is soo sexy, and the sound quality, size weight etc is just stunning.

I still feel that its the first step on the road to the Cult of Jobs

can someone explain to me why i have a terrible urge to buy a nano, given that i've got a perfectly acceptable 4th gen ipod?

    There's no good reason...

    I've had a 2G, a 3G, a 4G and a shuffle and they all sound identical.

    Battery life is another matter.
