    Counting beans now, eh? Not able to admit when you're wrong. I'll report that to the chairman of the Council for the Observation of the Adherence to Battleship Rules, who, accidentally, is me!

    edit: Hell, I wrote this before I read what otto had posted with the Council stuff etc. Hm.

    Oh dear... Who would have thought that a simple argument about whether you get to take more than one shot a round in a game of Battleships could lead to such carnage. :)

    Obviously there are several different versions of Battleships .. er .. floating around. The one I grew up with was a plastic set belonging to a friend, which came with only one submarine each and didn't include follow-on shots. So we're all right. :)

    I think what we're witnessing here is a breakdown of the Battleships rule book akin to the fate of the Church after the Council of Nicaea. J:AF you might want to have a word.
