I used to know someone who cooked a Christmas ham in Coke. I suppose the principle is about the same.
Can't say I was a fan. -

There's a Cuban chicken place nearby that does an incredible secret green sauce. They say it's coriander but I've had plenty of coriander before and it's never been that addictive.
I get the extra large and then spend the afternoon grappling with my own eyelids. It's hitting right about now. -
left over meat feast pizza. Lush! -
I had homemade soup. I also had it yesterday, and I've probably got it again tomorrow. -

Worth a visit for those in the City -
My appetite for grilled chicken is basically bottomless. I've been known to eat a whole roast chicken on my own as recently as Monday. Do I feel shame? No. No I don't. .gif)
In a couple of hours I will be feasting on a large, and a couple of hours after that, the post-lunch 3pm slump begins. -

I've been dieting, so another fridge salad with stuff going cheap.
I'm eating big fuck off salads during the week, fairly normal at weekends.
Today is chicory, pomegranate, feta cheese, lardons, radishes (same for dinner). -

Registered 16 years agoOne for the londoners mainly, but i just joined up with mealpal
Basically you pay for 12 meals a month for £4.70 each (or 20 for a bit cheaper)
The night before, loads of restaurants post a meal (or meals) that you can reserve to pick up the next day.
You then walk into the place pick up your meal and go.
So far on friday i had a buttermilk chicken burger and fries, yesterday i had two frankfurters and potato salad and a pretzel, and today i had chilli and rice.
It's not particularly good for my waistline... -

Registered 17 years ago@THFourteen I signed up for this the other week when it was £2.80 a meal. Plenty of options around, but some are very cheeky (smaller portions).
You're down near Liverpool St. aren't you? Plenty of options there. I'm a little further up towards Old Street, and have been well served thus far.
Not sure I'll keep it up after the cheapy trial is over, but has been an interesting experiment. -

Bit further than that, in between Moorgate and Bank.
Yeah i'd read a bit about the dodgy portion sizes but so far my 3 meals have been pretty standard. Maybe the biershenke one was a bit naf (2 frankfurters and a potato salad wasn't that big, but the pretzel was massive, i just didnt fancy all the carbs so left it)
My main concern is overeating! Or at least eating too much of the wrong stuff.
Quite a lot to choose from. The butchies burger on friday was quality. And Patty and Bun was up for grabs today.

Registered 17 years agoThat's a long walk for you up to Butchies! I had that last week, but sadly it had been sat on the side for 15 minutes so was a soggy luke-warm clusterfuck.
You're not wrong on the calories front though - I went for the 12 meals and I'm interspersing them with healthy homemade lunches. -

Spicy meatball pasta from Fernandos Pasta and Salad.
Normally when i see "spicy" i reach for the tabasco, but man this was good. Pretty simple sauce i think, had garlic, tomatoes, chilli, some herbs but MAN it was good. And four decent sized meatballs too.
Would totally go again.
