Pan-fried tiger prawns served with brandy & thyme sauce, fennel & tomato salsa
followed by
Pavé de Venaison aux Airelles et Pomme Fondante
Pan-fried strip loin of venison served with cranberry sauce & roasted potato
and finishing with:
Mousse au Chocolat et Nougatine
Dark chocolate & almond caramel mousse

Registered 13 years agoWell, the lamb was nice and the Christmas pudding was lurrvvvely. The pigeon however, was tough as old boots and I didn't like the taste, so there's a lesson learned. Have the soup. -

Registered 16 years agoWe went to Japanese sushi bar earlier.
I wasn't too keen as I'd tried sushi on various occasions in London at Yo sushi and M&S Sushi packs and hated it and even vommed on one occasion.
But here the sushi was a whole different experience!! I genuinly enjoyed it, amazing different flavours and textures.
We're now making it a weekly thing.
Plus it's dirt cheap! -

Registered 15 years agoJust went to the local Harvester (yeah i know) for a 2 hour lunch blowout with our dept. I had Cider, 2 bowls of salad, Garlic kickin' chicken, bucket of Vanilla Lemon ice cream merangue thingy and a baileys latte.
/ burp!
Sleepy now, luckily the beep when you fill the keyboard buffer acts as a handy alarm clock. -
