I was given this a few days ago, i'll have to start it now.
I've no idea what it's about at all and haven't had the chance to check yet. I've heard about it though.

Thanks for the warning, i had an idea that it was worth going in cold but i had a curiosity to check.

The Magus is one of my all-time favourite books.

Don't check, just read! It's amazing and slightly bonkers, and very readable, but highly spoilable so I really recommend reading it without looking at ANY plot summaries or reviews or anything like that.
