Just want to pick the EG collective brain before I put down an order. Since coming to the UK, I've noticed it's a bit of a hassle trying to: a) drive left b) pay attention to traffic c) try to follow a set of directions printed out off the internet d) match up said directions to actual roads, landmarks, etc I see around me I figured it'd be well worth investing in an entry level navi system for the car. I can pay attention to the road and the navi will tell me where to go. As most of this sort of stuff is a bit cheaper in Germany, I had a look around last weekend. Sadly, entry level systems come with a local map. In that case germany. So I'll have to go for a Uk one. I had a look around and reckon the one listed above and I figure the Navman ICN320 for 200 pounds seems pretty good. Unless some of you know of a better deal or have first hand negative experience with the Navman. Cheers! /off for lunch |

Registered 20 years agoHalfords, PC World and some other places let you go and have a hands on play with them. TomToms are very good - mother inlaw has one and she keeps coming back
Plus with TomTom you can get download extra stuff added to the maps - like speed camera positions. -

Registered 17 years agoHmmm .. I started off lookgin at Tom Tom but they're not exactly cheap and it seems the real cool extra's are only on the expesnive ones like the 500 or 700.
The entry level models seem to hold little benefits over their cheaper competitors.
Good advice sofar though. Cheers! -
Ha! Just found it for 169 at Hartford or Hatford (closed page already now).
Excellent. Ordered.
