Ok I'm finally planning on upgrading from MiniDiscs. My budget is €220 (£150). My the main things I'm looking for is good storage (20gb +) Easy to use as a portable HD (less software the better) Any ideas? |
Recommend a Portable Music Device to me

Registered 20 years agoMost PMDs need some kind of driver for them to be used as a portable HD. iirc it was only iRivers that worked without any drivers or software at all - but this was some years ago so might not still be the case.
My fully updated PC did recognise and install my Zen without me having to install any software - iirc. -

Registered 20 years agoiPod? Popular for a reason but maybe not so hot on a budget (unless you can get someone to help you get their student/teacher discount).
>iriver=cool as shit (thats good)
David Davies has one. Maybe not so cool with the hip crowd
