Registered 20 years agoNot a good week for Sony at all, that is almost unforgivable. How did they manage to get that out into the public? Absolute genius. -

Registered 17 years agoI think with many electronic appliances the components are made in the same factory for many different brands of appliances. What I have found is that many so called 'quality' products just aren't as well built as they used to be and are sometimes even outlived by much much cheaper products.
I wouldn't buy a Sony TV, Stereo and probably not even the PS3 as I know that the build isn't always great on their products and their after sales support is shocking.

Registered 17 years agowell, i'm happy to boycott them. I don't own much sony gear, and could happily live without them. The rootkit stuff sounds ridiculous, and it's amusing that XP will remove it as malicious software in the next update. They've always gone a step too far with region protection, and DRM ( anyone used Sonic Stage?? What a fucking nightmare ).
It's no loss to me. -

You know I've got to say, with this last genius PR move, Sony have done more to drive normally law-abiding people to P2P than anyone. It's actually more dangerous to play a legit Sony CD than it is to download something unknown off the web. :/ -
