On a side note did anyone here ever seen the documentry "Beyond the Mat"? Compelling viewing even for spandex haters. The section with Jake is heartbreaking and disturbing in equal measures. Shows him wrestling and Indie show where there's a guy pissing in a bucket in the corner. Then meeting up with his dad for the first time in years. His dad is also his grandfather as he raped his own daughter, Jake's mother. They rake leaves for several minutes in silence. Then he meets up with his daughter he hasn't really seen at all since she was born. She's an emotional mess as you would be. He says he'll meet up with her later for a proper reunion but doesn't show up as he decided to go smoke some crack instead.

As for the "How come Jake the Snake isn't a snake" quetion that always confused me too. I mean if you are to go out in opublic and call yourself Jake The Snake the last thing you should do is carry around an actual snake with you. This just makes it easier for people to see through your charade.
