As for Potter.. pah.. its for kids and they'll probably love it..

I've only seen the first movie (forced to sit down and watch it with my kid) - hated every minute of it.. poor acting shit direction and.. you get the picture - not a fan..
The first film was not good, the second film was frankly terrible. Really an abomination. The third one was really good though, I thought. I'm a fan of the books by the way.

Just so we're clear, we're talking about beating up two fourteen-year-old kids because they get might get to stage-snog another fourteen-year-old kid? Whom we* fancy?

    * er not including me officer :x

Krum has a shaved head??? No no no no no no that's all wrong. I see him as a kind of dark-haired Orlando Bloom.

He's about as like Orlando Bloom as Luigi is to King Bowser.

Huh, actually, apart from the skin that's pretty much as I imagined him.

For us non-book readers, does the film make sense?

Ecanem, the first one bored me a bit too tbh, but the second and third one got better each time tbh. I'm no fan of the books, and I dont have kids, but they were enjoyable enough.

Thanks ilmaestro, think I'll catch it next Tuesday when its half price night.

I cant bring myself to read the books. I'm sorry but I see them as kids books (yeah I know they are accessable to both kids and adults, I'm prejudiced and blinkered! Please dont take offence anyone!). If I had kids I would almost certainly read them, but I'd rather watch a 2-3 hour film than spend a few days/weeks reading a book :/

Quick! Vote in the Awards thread!

I've already sent mine off, but it's not too late for you! Save the Thread of the Year category!
With pics I'd have given it the w1n.

Am I allowed to say that given that I'm 29?
