Why is Superman 4 so shit?

Seriously. Lex is an incompetent babbling idiot, Superman's a complete cock in an ill-fitting outfit, everyone looks old and it's badly made. Plus they use that damn zoom effect virtually every time Superman so much as leaves the ground.

And the less said about the Glam-Rock baddie and Lenny Luthor the better.

Uch, there's just too much wrong with that film. They use the same shot of Superman flying towards the camera over and over again, it's generally very cheaply made, and they commit the most almighty faux pas by having Supes go to New York!

Worst of all though, is that you can tell that Reeves really wasn't up for it, and the script is so badly written you can see he can hardly read the lines. What's odd is that Gene Hackman actually came back after not being in 3, and its by far the worse film. It makes me very sad to watch it.
