Good morning!

My Creative Zen Touch 40 GB arrived yesterday safe and sound. I have a few quick questions about it that the official site couldn't provide answers for so I thought I'd run them by you guys and gals.

First off I installed the new firmware which makes it recognised on all XP machines, hurrah! However this seems to have made Nomad Explorer stop recognising it. Is this normal?

Secondly, if a song doesn't have an artist defined in it's properies where the hell does it go? Several mp3s I've put on won't show up anywhere.

Thirdly, oooh it's pretty.

dont know about the explorer thing but you should be able to find the song under "unkown artist" or some such.

Delighted with it. Although don't hold in your bare hands for very long. It somehow conducts subzero temperatures! It's freezing!

The touch pad takes a bit of getting used to, after a few hours tho it's grand. I found putting sensitivity to low helped. Also I kept instinctively tapping the pad as a button which I then found out you can set to act as one so that was cool.

Grt the lates firmware, it's recognised on all XP machines as an audio device now, very handy.

Haven't set any playlists or anything yet, still just gazing at it and freaking out fellow commuters.

You get yours on creative's ebay shop?

If only I'd known....

did get it off eBay but didnt see anything listed from a Creative Shop. oh well, you live and learn. only paid slightly more than what you mentioned.
can't wait now!
