    Any thoughts on the suggestions?

click on 'games' on the left hand side (under your platform of choice) and then click on 'score' to sort by score.

I think most of the complaints of bias came because of the way some of the news articles were being written and not the scores given to the games.

Sure, but some said we reviewed games lower on Xbox than PS2 and I was just demonstrating that that isn't true.

My suggestions are being ignored. :(

    I just wanted some feedback.

Ah right, didn't know peeps were bashing the site for that. Pretty ridiculous when it's only 2 or 3 mouse clicks to find out.

Don't think they're ever 'wrong' either. If it's the reviewer's genuine opinion then he (or she) can't be wrong even if i disagree with them.

Tell that to the person that marked my English Lit 'O' level paper...

I'd like to double-clarify that I'm not saying do away with scores, I'm saying that a temporary experiment without them would be quite interesting.

How about a mouse-over button - "hover here if you want to know what the score is" type affair.... Or one of those nifty 3.5 pizza slice type scoring systems - in fact, what would eurogamer use in place of hotdogs or pizzas?? 3.5/5 PS2s? ;p

Now you mention it I marked your english lit O level. Opinions can't be wrong. However, claiming that Macbeth lived in a cardboard box on the moon with a troupe of monkeys clearly is. As is your guess that the witches 3 predictions were "A plague of locusts", "proof of life on other planets by easter" and "spurs for the cup".

How do you get to that page? I'm trying to view Cube and PS2 reviews by score.

Yeah obviously, but there's presumably a 'proper' way of doing it?

I see no hint of bias whatsoever. The reason I like the site is that the reviewers just seem like "normal" people it doesnt have the feel of some evil corporate entity. It hasnt really changed much from when I first found the site years ago when it almost like something any of us could have put together (thats a compliment!).

Even if I disagree with them, I trust their staff, ethos and reviews implicitly.

I'd love to see it too. Look at the Kameo review. Its 200 posts talking about the score, not the game.

So if 90% of EG games score 8/10, why bother putting score there anyway?

Admit it, its just because you struggle with the words :)

    Heh.
Seriously raups, what about trialling a no-score system? Ever thought of doing it?
