Not exactly online shopping, but.....

With the wonderous news that Gamestation are selling Xenosaga 2 for just over Ł20, I thought that I might trade in a few games that aren't getting much attention these days.

I'll probably not get too much for them, but what do you reckon the going rate will be for-

The Lord Of The Rings the Third Age
SOS The Final Escape
Yu Gi Oh! The Duelists of The Roses

You'll get about Ł2-7 for each of them, roughly.

This works for me:

Look at their website, find the sale price for the Pre-owned games you want to trade in, divide by half and deduct 99p. That has always gotten me within 50p of what they'd offer on any of their Ł16.99 or less games. For newer releases it's a lottery, they gave me Ł24 back for my free copy of Buzz from Argos, quite why it was worth that much I'll never know!

It'll also probably appear in the swapsies thread if you want to do it that way.

I'll be paid next wednesday, so I may just wait and pay cash, so all three will be added to my swapsies probably.

errrm, I posted a list in the old swaps thread and I'm pretty sure there was nothing you wanted because I'm pretty sure you had something else I wanted a few weeks back and nothing took your fancy. Just in case I'll put a small list in the swapsies thread

Not sure really what stuff do you have available other than 3rd age? I'd swap any 1 of those for 3rd age although tbh I'd prefer not JFG since I'd have to go to the post office rather than just the post box. Also not too sure why you'd want the N64 card, pretty much no games use memory cards, none I have do. I only have it because it was in a pad a friend gave me.

I bought an N64 not too long ago on a car boot sale and got the impression that I need a memory card for saving on Perfect Dark.
I got an expansion pack, but I thought you needed more than that to save?!?

From memory, a few games required the memory card to play. I know ISS did, and I'm sure some of the earlier titles did too. Blast Corps maybe? Can't remember to be honest.

Had my first experience of trading in there when I needed a game for my PSP, can't say I was too impressed with how much I got for everything really.

I dont know, all my games save to cart. I dont have PD though. Only games I'll probably ever play again on the N64 are Lylat wars and Paper Mario.

True. Only got a fiver for mine trade in. But then it didn't cost me much more than that so can't complain.

GS did give me Ł16 for UFO when it only cost me Ł18 from play... and a new one was up for Ł19.99 in GS itself!
