So, The Matrix, right?

The Wachowskis did just ignore the whole Architect/6 other Ones for Revolutions, didn't they? Or have I somehow missed parts of Revolutions both at the cinema and repeated viewings on DVD?

Yeah, they're old now, but I'm re-watching the trilogy and it's always bugged me.

But you're missing Smith's Popeye impression after Neo twats him with the mega punch!

    Seriously, worst. CGI. Ever.

    Spoilers ahead.

They diden't ignore them. There were 6 other "The Ones" who just played along and reset the Matrix and so maintaining the status quo.
Neo diden't, but in the end he realized that was his leverage over the machines. They needed him or the Matrix would be destroyed, similarly huminaty needed the Matrix or they would die out.
So they comprimised. Neo reset the Matrix, the machines diden't wipe out Zion.

Wasn't a verry good or climactic ending but it did make sense.

I know it makes sense, and I know that Neo decided to save humanity rather than comply, but it's still completely and totally ignored in Revolutions. You'd think Neo would have mentioned it to someone. The point was that except for the very basic elements (Smith, Sentinels digging), Reloaded is ignored entirely, which seems really odd.

He doesn't get a chance to really inform everybody. He gets into a coma due to his new powers, so only his friends know what's going on. Events then move too fast to phone home.

But he's standing around with Morpheus et al for bloody ages before he does anything. It's just strange that it's never brought up again ever, considering it's the one thing that confused most people about Reloaded.

It doesn't matter, 2 and 3 don't exist in my book.

Just like Star Wars Eps I-III.
