Have any of you bought this. I am returning to WOW this weekend for what I know will be at least a few month escapade and thought this would be useful.

Its only Ł11 - but thought I would check what opinions were among the hardcore WOW'ers.

'Hardcore WOW'ers' have memorised the atlas already!, actually I don't know teldrassil very well

What Salaman said, there are plenty of websites devoted to wow locations etc. Theres a wow cartography site somewhere but I can't remember the url, sure somebody will link it.

For NPC/Quest locations you can just use thottbot or allakhazam, get a nice search function with that too

Sounds like a paper version of thottbot to be honest. It's not a bad price but since Wow lets you toggle out with ALT +TAB, I tend tojust have thottbot oopen in case I can't find an NPCs location and such things.

the problem with that is chopping and changing all the tim between the browser and the game... damn annoying.

Having a book by the screen is going to be very usefull.

/ordered. Pity it will not include the up and coming expansion pack, but it's going to be a damn great help (especially the NPC index and vendor location...)

I end up with a sort of Rainbow artifact down the right hand side and bottom edge of my WoW screen when I alt-tab, plus even with 1gig of RAM it takes a few seconds. :/

3/4GB of ram and onboard GPU (Laptop).

No sound bollocks, and no graphic's glitches. couple of seconds delay. That's it.

That always happened to me too. I found that changing resolutions will get rid of it though (even though this does clear your chatlog) and sometimes it seems to fix itself. Annoying nonetheless and slow even with 2gig.

Really.

The maps however (and I say again!) with the index of all NPCs for Ł11 is a definate yes...

Although the bundle is pretty cheap.. So maybe get it (Give you something to read while you're in the queue to log on).

how up to date will it be? 1.9 will change a load of stuff, especially in the capitals and silithis so i'd be doubtfull of its worth in a month or so
