This is the game making me consider getting a DS.. never played the GC version (never had a Nintendo console).. so all persuasion attempts appreciated.. I here its like the sims meets beatrix potter (ok poor analogy)

Just checked m-create.com and AC:WW has sold 325K copies in the first week. Impressive stuff! Can't wait, especially since I've never played Animal Crossing on the Cube.

Damnit I need to try and remember the name of my town from my old GC game... I really liked it. Failing that, my Harvest Moon one was also pretty good. But I can't remember that either.

Just put in an order with VG+ and thought I should get a post in one the first page of what no doubt will become another massive thread. Didn't get this for the Cube as I came rather late to the party and thought it wouldn't be worth it. I'd better spend the time until it arrives trying to getting past level 18 of Advance Wars!

Also a harvest moon fan. Gut instinct says you should like them both, but I tired of GC Animal Crossing far sooner than I did, say, GBC Harvest Moon.

I don't think the same will be true of this instalment, though, simply because of the ease of player-player connectivity - something I lacked in the original.
