I'm glad you're enjoying the game, but please try to avoid turning this thread into the equivalent of a chatroom. It's a valuable resource for everyone, and creating multiple posts with little added value makes it more difficult for people to find what they need. If you're having an exchange with one user, consider swapping instant chat details and taking it off forum. Also, think about what you're posting. There are some great bargains to be had at today's flea market, I've already picked up some great stuff. That's not the only thing that Lyle does...the first time he comes to you trying to sell you insurance and you buy it, then the following sat., he will try to sell you damage insurance. If bought, he will give you a certain amount of money when you buy fake paintings from Redd.
It's also said that talking to Sable/Brewster will increase your luck... -

Registered 19 years agooh, you don't have to go online to get different fruit. i can't get online with my DS (bloody SKY broadband..!) but you can get other fruit yourself. just write letters to the other residents and attach a piece of your fruit and they'll hopefully gift you back with a new fruit. it doesn't happen each time, but keep doing it until you get all the fruits.
oh, and the coconuts wash up on the beach so plant those, but only at the beach. -
