Howsabout a remake of Tapper? Come on, some of you must be old enough to remember it. Use the analogue stick to run between bars, tilt the controller to simulate pulling a beer pump, then swish it to the left to push the full glass along the bar - the harder you swish the controller - the faster the glass goes. Need to make sure you don't zap it too far or not far enough. |

A stealth game where you had to solder circuits and weld steel together to get through some of the security systems. Or perform surgery on someone to pull an alien out of them or something...
I dunno, whjat I'm trying to say here is, non-conventional tools. We're used to wielding swords and guns etc., how about getting hands on with some of the dirtier jobs in the gaming world. How cool would Deus Ex have been if you could actually pick the locks manually!!! -

Registered 16 years agoTrauma Center: Revolution [Tenative Title]
Rating: [15+] (Alot More gore)
Description: Imagine having the same inovative anime styled art and all the same ops but make them more gory, more advanced (and alot lot more types) ops such as heart surgeery and brain surgery and have out of the operating theatre in 3rd person. You could walk around the hospital with you pager ect ect. Also there shoudl be more cute anime style nurses to keep you company during the op's. Maybe even a GP option where you must analyse what is wrong with someone and subscribe them medicine.
Controller use: Much like the stylus pen for op.s
In 3rd person you can use B button to grab things....
Well, to much thought into it will problly get me obbsessed so i'll levae it at that.
EDIT***
OMGzors!
I just checked on IGN and saw the list to find Trauma Center Revolution to be listed, when did they announce that?

Registered 17 years ago'Scuse me for bumping this thread. Anyway, I've been thinking about how racing games would work on the Rev.
Instead of holding the controller like a steering wheel, I have an alternative idea. What could happen is that you could hold the nunchuk attachment, and use the analogue stick to steer. Then with the revmote in the other hand, you tilt it down to accelerate and tilt it up to decelerate. Then, when you turn, you could tilt the revmote in the direction that you're turning to drift. Anyway, those are my ideas so far. Feel free to build on them... or ridicule them, I don't mind, since no one can take me seriously. -
Strap a Wii controller to each of your feet and hold one in each of your hands. Now play Streetfighter II. Greatest game ever!!! -

Registered 16 years agoGame: Norwegian Drinking Game....
Genre: Party game
Concept: All players each have a wand worn on their belts. Players are instructed to stand in front of the rev and spin around a set number of times. The rev of course tracks this. Players are then challenged to complete tasks such as walking a straight line - with the Wii tracing their relative motions. There are also a number of other challenges to complete while dizzy.
The Wii also knows the position in 3d space of the houses bathrooms and anyone who runs to one to barf is immediatley disqualified.
You can also download ghosts of other peoples runs from the World Wiide Web, which will be revealed to be the name of Nintendos Xbox-Live-Alike this E3. -

I´m actually doing it right now except without the revolution.
But there are no online score-boards and I would have been disqualified twice already!

Yeh, I suppose it's not enough of an idea to be a full game... It could have power ups and penalty's... like... a special ball/object falls into the screen and if you get it intime you get something special like bigger slower objects for a time or a helping hand, if you miss it you get smaller faster harder to keep up objects for a time, or even something that gives your controllers less/more power so you get less/more lift with each "juggle". The opssibilties seem endless.

Registered 17 years agoNot a game idea as such, but I'd love to see some sort of motion-sensor attachment for the DS.
It could open up some very cool possibilities for the DS to be a realtime 'window' into the game (much like the gimmicky F1 PSP rear-view, but not crap). -

Registered 17 years agoThere's a thought - if the thing is genuinely spacially-aware, it should be possible to map out your environment and construct a virtual representation to be included in a game. i.e. you walk around your room while the Rev records your co-ordinates.
Could make for some interesting (non-Mario) party games.
BTW
Well done simian for the cooking game prediction

A genius idea.
Imagine it, as Zelda you not only have a revmote as your sword but you also have a magic mirror you need to hold up to see the enemies. -

Exactly... It could be used as an alternative to Samus' scan visor, a tracking device a la Aliens, etc... -

Of course, as I said on the PSP link-up thread, it's never going to be much more than a side-show as a good proportion of the user base won't have one. But still, the possibilities are huge. -

Probably, as it's bee nsaid that very likely the controller has a microphone.
