Has anyone managed to get this to work? I can't find the fucking BIOS and system fix files.

One of the NeoRage coders died years ago and they cancelled the project, but it's still one of the best emulators.

Anyway, Bios files are illegal - as they are copyright to SNK. So alas, can't help! but put it this way, im guessing you've got some games to play on the thing, in which case you normally get the bios from the same plage.

It's a victim of those delightful fiddlers working on MAME. NeoRageX pretty much prioneered NG emulation and support for various games but the MAME lot wanted to standardise the rom naming system so they all got messed around with :/

I'm lucky in that I've got a pretty full romset from way back so I can take the piss by playing them on my P150 lappy. :D

Well, Mame has some strict rules about hardware emulation - it has to be low level emulation, you can't dump HLE stuff in which would run a lot of the newer systems a hell of a lot faster, but again - i can see why they've done it, it makes it 100% accurate and mame is about accuracy rather than piracy.

How big is the romset, and would you mind sending it on?

That wasn't my problem with the MAME team at all - just that they seem to have wanted to rename the romset so no other reason than to make it conform more with the naming system they use elsewhere. Didn't matter that they broke them for other emulators ¬_¬

Anyway. Problem is most places will carry the MAME-friendly romsets, nowt else. That's my biggest problem with it all. 'twas inevitable

Get really frustrated now, managed to get the BIOS' and fixes, but when I put roms in a directory and type it in on the emulator, it keeps coming up with no roms found. Help!
