Deep Space 9 and the prophets haven't been discovered yet.

I think you'll find the Prophets will very much be a very important part of the Bajoran faith, given they'd been watching over for centuries. So thank them. Thank them!

Good news about Khan, though we knew that was likely anyway given there was no evidence except a rumour from a "source". It's Gary Mitchell, I bet. That's equally unlikely to be fair, but if it is him, I called it! -

Registered 13 years agoI never understood how khan would work in this new universe anyway, you'd have to do a long flashback, then flash forward a long way in the new time line for his hatred of kirk to make sense. -

Registered 11 years agoBut am very glad it's not Khan. Whole universe out there to explore.
Although interestingly, I wonder why we were so up in arms about Khan coming back, but loved it when the Joker came back in Dark Knight. Is it because Trek is all one large cannon? -

Registered 12 years agoThe wrath of khan is one of the best films, I guess people couldn't see the need for a rehash. As long as this film does not involve any form of time travel, I'll be happy. -

I'll pitch a suggestion of it being Garth, who was an insane Starfleet Captain that appeared in the episode "Whom Gods Destroy". -

I believe they have changed the engine room and it's no longer a brewery
But the reboot enterprise is still waaaaaaay too big and that stupid waterworks funpark of an engine room can suck my cock. -
What the fuck made them think it was a brewrey in the first place?! I can understand making it look more industrial but O_o
Anyway, I don't think it's too big. It's the federation flagship. It should be fucking massive. -

Registered 16 years agoIt's odd though, I quite liked that industrial look of the negine room. It made more sense to me. There should be laods of engineers and stuff to make it work. It's effectively a space fearing nuclear power plant. -

Ooh, that could be a very good shout. Garth doesn't look a million miles away from Cumberbatch, and he was a Starfleet captain. Could be very interesting too, what with his shapeshifting. Wouldn't be too much of a stretch to assume the changes to the timeline wouldn't have stopped making him a bit mental, yet it could go a different way with the same themes.

I don't think they were able to find another industrial location with that much going on that also looked modern and clean.

Registered 9 years agoHang on though, these are fairly minor nitpicks in what was essentially an excellent reboot. -
