Registered 16 years agoalso the proper Sony site has downloads
Sony K750i downloads page
also this site:
www.se-nse.com
has stuff all about all Sony Ericsson phones, including how to completely dismantle your shiny new K750 (not that you'd actually want to of course)

Bit of a daft question... can the K750i play either .mp4 or .wma files? Mine can't, but I was under the impression that it could... -

Registered 18 years agoNah, I'll just re-rip the CDs TBH. That was more of a curosity.
The mp4's could be an issue though. -

Registered 18 years agoActually Furbs... will that app convert an entire library in one go? ATM my library is in WMA, but in hind sight I should have used MP3... -

Don't suppose you have a link there old bean?
Just had a quick look and it seems to. Open the "dMC file selector" and it gives you a tree view where you can select directories. -

Registered 18 years agoHmm... I'm using the Convertor tool, at it's not letting me select any WMA files... In fact, they're not in the drop down menu... -

With a bluetoothj dongle I can convert wma into mp3?
I tried that app Furbs, plus another I found on the net. Both of them gave the same results: Some songs were converted fine, others were converted with a bad loss in quality, and others were cut off half way through the track.
Looks like I'll have to re-rip. Still, only 30 or so albums, nothing major. -

Registered 20 years agoI know the W800i (which is the same phone, but different software as the K750i) has woes playing .mp4 files when they're not in the exact file structure it wants. Could try fiddling with that. -

Registered 18 years agoI've got an unlocked (ie not DRM limited) K750i and it wont touch WMA's. It recognises them but wont play. Not tried mp4 though.
DPPoweramp converts them painlessly though if you really need to play them. -

Try getting the codec here.
I just went to convert an mp3 to WMA and even though I have all the updates to XP, WMP10 etc it wouldnt let me without going there first.
Maybe that will allow it?
