Please, oh EG code monkeys, can we have a way to directly skip to a specific page on the main comments section without having to load the first page every time? Preferably from the 'Latest comments' list?

Failing that, can't we have an option in our prefs to not split 'em into multiple pages?

It's doin' me head in. :-(

    (

And failing that, can you simply make them as they were before, unsplit? The whole splitting thing is not making things easier, it's making them more complicated.

Agreed. The new way's pointless (apart from for Furbs' suggestion!)

It's not just that, a page with 300 comments in takes bloody ages to load...

But a page of 50 comments followed by a page of one comment also takes bloody ages to load. :-)

It's making it hard for me to track my pwning by bengalibengali.

When I ignore someone on the forum can you tell my computer that I don't want a blank page when I click last page.

I prefer it to the insanely long comments of before. I always found it easy to lose my place if I went back to them.

It sounds like a way to pick a certain page of comments from 'outside' the article would be ideal for everyone.

No doubt bumps the page impressions up though ;)
