Bad news for anyone hoping for new material or playable PS3 stuff at the Taipei Game Show - everything on show is from last year's E3 or TGS. :-(

"Sony has promised to ship the PlayStation 3 in 2006. Head of Sony Computer Entertainment Asia, Tetsuhiko Yasuda, told reporters at the Taipei Game Show that the console will launch this year, though no specific date or price point have been decided, he claimed. He also said the company expects the new machine to out-sell the PS2."

ffs _when_ is the big sony announcemnet gonna be its been ages since they've given us anything.
Even when the 360 launch there was no big sony-steal-the-limelight announcement.
