    Optical Illusion

I wonder how good the illusion is in real life?

That is extremely cool, I'd love that in my house. How difficult would that be to achieve? Shame there's nothing on there about how you would go about it

Heh, very clever, some of them. I don't get the coloured window one, though...

I think the 'end result' pics are exaggerated so you can see the effect, but I don't think any of them are fake.

If you look at them closely they don't match each other in various places.

Surely the coolest way to paint a room is naked?

Easy, just draw a pattern on a transparency and project it with an OHP (or use a projector if you have one) from the point you want it to come together, then trace out the pattern on every surface it hits with a pencil or something, then paint it.

I'm not saying it's not possible, just that those photos look dodgy.

    Er. I just said that.

Damn, not only was the whole thread olded but so was one of my posts!

Sweet, easy then. I've got a projector, I'd quite like to do a panel from one of the Sin City comics

And when you say Sin City comics, we all know you really mean La Blue Girl manga :-D

I'll be back in reading soon, I can do you a whole mural if you like for a few quid for my time and a couple of pints.

I used to specialise in em.

Murals, that is. But pints too.
Cool, that would be great! It's going to be in the summer sometime when we've moved house and I have a games room, but yeah if you're around that would be brilliant :D
