    Hell why bother with Vista. All you need is a hard-drive add-on. Then it can shunt data between the internal and external drives, as and when.

    We're talking about MS, the internal drive you're all going to have to buy. :)

    I somehow don't think that it'll be "Download full disc images here!". I suspect eventually it'll settle into games effectively streaming off the servers, all you need to download is the base graphics and whatnot. Almost like a thin-client gaming machine.

    Having worked in PC retail, believe me, within five years there wont be a sizeable enough amount of people with Vista capable machines to make it feasable.
