Anybody have any idea when this will be coming to the mainstream networks? I've lost the antenna to my curent phone so need a replacement pretty pronto (I'd been looking anyway), but I've been unable to find a phone I'd be entirely happy with. My requirements are basically that it is has at least a megapixel camera, has expandable memory, MP3 player, is sliding-face design... and doesn't have the 'space' key in the bottom-right of the keypad. The 6280 seems to meet all of those requirements and more. The thing is, it doesn't seem to be available anywhere. So, any idea, anyone? Cheers, Prof. |

Registered 19 years agoWon't a lesser phone do? Such as the 6230i?
EDIT: There isn't an mp3 player program, but it'll play mp3s.
EDIT2: It doesn't have a sliding face design, but is that absolutely necessary?

Registered 17 years agoWheeee! Just got one of these today. Free phone, 750 voice mins 150 texts for £17.50 a month 18 month contract. I thought it was a cracking deal.
It looks nice and shiny but is obviously on charge at the moment.

I got a P990i and it isn't that bad. If you unclip the flip down numbers on the front its no thicker than most other phones (not the super-thin ones). -

I also had one of the 6280's at the start of my 3 contract. I had to replace it 4 times. On my 5th 6280, I finally got it replaced with a different phone (V3x).
The 6280 kept resetting for no reason. The battery would on hold charge for about 1 hour then run out after being charged all night.
I think they may have ironed out these issues now though, my girlfriend and my brother both have one and so far not problems.
